Poor Mico - chicken allergy

I refused to believe that I'm allergic to chicken. I love treats..any kind of treats, including chicken treats..

Then I started to itch again. My skin became red & sore and I screamed when my daddy carried me off the van the other day..

So I'm back on the E collar..poor me..

Thank you Mas

Thank you Mas for giving me a nice bowl & collar.

My mummy never bought me such a nice collar before.

Makes me look so girlish, don't you think so?

See..

As for the nice bowl, i don't think my mummy will put any treats in the bowl for the next few days because I now weigh a hefty 7.3khg. Up from my original weight of 6.9kg. You see, when Boy & Baby were here with me, we all had treats daily. Compared to Baby's weight of 6.5kg, my mummy thinks I am too fat & needs to be on a diet...sob sob...i'm not a fat gal...My normal Cavalier weighs between 6 to 8kg. So i'm just nice...

Mummy: Getting so fat that can't see your waist liao...better go on diet..

Some cute pictures taken while boarding boy & baby

Yawnz...i'm so sleepy...
The lovely squeeze
Ain't I pretty
our last meal together

While I was not at home

Boy was busy enjoying himself on my sofa. Already given up my favourite seat to him and now this..

Don't I look handsome ??

Scare of the day

This morning, wanted to bring Baby & Mico for a walk.
With a bag of rubbish in my hand & 2 dogs in tag, I opened my wooden door, wanting to let them out.

But Boy beat me to the door & refused to go back when I asked him to.
He was so eager to go out for a walk until he tried squeezing through the gap in the metal gate.

& got stuck...could not get in or get out.

I tried pulling him out for 10 minutes but could not do it.
Then I started to panic....
my thoughts in my mind...do I need to call SCDF, saw my gate or use hammer to hammer open the grille?
If i leave him to look for my phone to call hubby, will he manage to get out & run away..
Should I try to oil him to reduce friction.

After trying for another few minutes & by then, the boy started shivering. No usual whining or growling. Just shivering. Then i became quite certain that he would not slip out while I went to call for help.

Fortunately, hubby was just downstairs and came up immediately. He laughed at Boy for being so silly and asked me to get the camera to take pictures.

I asked hubby if Boy would be able to get out and hubby said yeah without trying.

Then he tried and realised Boy was stuck because his front legs were very stiff as he was scared.

So we tried coaxing boy by giving treats. Slowly push him out of the metal grille.

Finally he was free.

Happy to be free, he insisted going for the walk when I headed towards the door with Baby & Mico..

So I had no choice but to bring him along..Put them on a 2 way leash..Baby & Boy together..

& Boy happily pulled Baby in the opposite direction wherever she went. The 2 had difficult coordinating...hahaha

My scare of the day. Luckily Boy turned out fine & no damage to my metal grille.

The happy ending ..after the walk

boarding - Baby & Boy

2 sweet shih tzus..or rather 1 sweet gal and 1 grouchy old man..
not so old..i was told..

Baby is sweet, plays fetch better than Mico. Knows paw, high five..

Boy misses home too much i think. Keeps whining.
Can't sayang him whenever i wish to because he snapped at me when I insisted on stroking him when he already made that growling sound twice.

He already found his favourite corner and cushion. That cushion is my seat and it looks like I won't be getting it back for the next few days.

Both, to my delight, are not barkish at all. Mico is more noisier than them.

After months of applying for the license (since Aug), Mico finally got her license.

Birds

When we have time on our hands, Mico and I would go bird chasing.

On 1 occasion, we chanced upon a bird that could not fly. As Mico got close to the bird, she realised the bird did not fly away and looked puzzled. Afraid that her dog instincts would take over and harm the bird or that the bird might poke her eyes, I summoned her back.

My dear Mico responded immediately. So guai.
