Must take some pictures of Boyce before he gets adopted.

Poor Boy. Went for vacination at Namly yesterday and sterlisation today. Was outside waiting for him when I heard him scream. All the dogs and people in the waiting area were a bit scared after hearing him scream.

I should have taken pictures of his 'balls' before and after but I was too disgusted to do it anyway. Hee. Once, he got too excited and his 'P' started to spurt something out. Totally disgusted with him and asked hubby to take him away.

I'm glad I have a female dog.

Updates on Boyce & Mico's condition

Mico seems to have recovered from the scratch. Although can still see cornea tear, which has turned white, the wound is healing. Costed me 2 visits to vet & $90 so far. Still need to go follow up tomorrow.

As for Boyce, naughty boyce was so daring. After I finished feeding them and placed their bowl on the table, he actually jumped for the table. Fortunately, the table was too high for him. So mad with him that day. Could believe the previous adopter's words that he jumped onto their dining table.

Got a potential adopter for Boyce. Asked me for photos of him. Hope he gets a new home soon. Otherwise if he stays too long, he may miss us when he leaves.

Poor Mico - heart pain ah - I detest CATS

Decided to bring both of them for morning walk to sis's place to pass her the treats her friend ordered.

Lazy Boyce stopped & lay down a few times during the walk. While reaching my sis's block, Mico walked past a car when I saw a cat pawed at Mico. The cat was lying under the car out of my sight & I did not see it. Stupid cat I thought.

Mico did not make a single sound. Immediately I picked her up and saw her right eye tearing badly. Upon checking, realised her cornea scratched by the stupid cat. Saw something white on the eyeball.

I so heartpain!!! My poor gal kenna scratched by the cat. Hate cats now! Immediately called Dar to bring her to vet. Dar chided me for bringing them out alone to so far.

Vet remembered Mico was previously warded for salt poisoning & asked why she so many incidents. My poor gal's life is so eventful. Used a green florescent stain to determine her eye injury & luckily it was not too bad. Was prescribed eye ointment & some antibotics to prevent infection. Luckily she could still see. Even when recovered, there will be a scar which will fade over time.

Hope she recovers soon. My poor gal. So resilient. Never even cried in pain. If I did not see the cat paw, I would not even know of the injury.

Now Mico got to wear the E-collar, which she hates for fear that the ointment will cause her to itch & scratch herself & make it worse. Brought her out for walk & she kept knocking & sliding because of the e-collar.

My poor gal. Sigh. Got to do follow up checkup tomorrow.

Boyce - Day 3

Boyce means "Forest". An old french word. Suits him as he is abandoned & quite wild.

ASD is good. Arranging for microchip, vacination, sterlisation & even the heartworm test I requested. If he needs any medical attention, they will pay for it. Ask me to monitor the behaviour so that they can find a best fit adopter. If I need help for grooming, they can also arrange for something. I think he has a very good life after all.

Boyce is quite manja too. Just like Mico. While he is a very active dog, at home, he is just contented to sit down quietly beside me while Mico prances about.

A fussy eater just like Mico. Terrible. Both of them just leave their kibbles in the bowl untouched. Boyce is worse. He is a messy eater/drinker. Spills all over the floor. Both of them only want canned food.

Gave Boyce Timberwolf to see if he would eat. Surprisingly, he started munching them eagerly. Got expensive taste man! Whereas Mico did not want to eat again. Mixed milk, timberwolf, canidae, evolve canned food, water & milk. Gross like rojak. But they enjoyed it tremendously.

Boyce - My fostered Dog

Someone needed help in fostering a dog urgently and persuaded hubby and me. Decided to help out as we had plenty of food anyway, if not, the dog would end up in SPCA. Indirectly fostering an ASD dog cos any adopter will have to sign adoption papers with ASD.

Called ASD guy last night after I agreed to foster the dog. ASD would arrange for sterilisation after he settles down & would send trainer down to train him if necessary. This boy's problems are barking & humping..Others had to use anti bark collar to shock him from barking.

Went to bring this bugger home this morning. Lady who fostered him was a pet shop employee. Claimed that he jumped onto their dining table and made her mum so angry. He also kept misbehaving at home when she was not around. Behaved like a rascal when I first saw him. Did not listen to anyone at all. Immediately headed to Dar's friend's pet shop to buy muzzle to prevent him fm barking.

Cordoned him with a 2 piece play pen initially but he found his way out. Decided to use all 4 pieces of play pen but he still found his way out while we were out for lunch. Found him leaving marks all over the living room & a piece of poo. Didn't know if it was Mico or him. Luckily I was smart enough to close all bedroom doors. Terribly smart boy. Ended up tying the playpen to prevent him from coming out. With that, Mico has her new found freedom. No more playpen to keep her in kitchen.

Seems to be good friends as Mico would check him out ocassionally.

Backstabbing

Kenna backstep by some competitor to say that we gave too much discount and doing parallel import. Supplier choose to believe that guy's words even though there was no evidence. Supplier decided not to sell to us anymore & we also could not be bothered to deal with such unreasonable persons.

Dar got to apologise to the customers whom we could not sell to them. As for the stupid person who backstab us, I think that whoever he or she is, is very childish. How many competitors can one eliminate by this method? This is a free economy! No matter how many competitors you try to eliminate, there will always be new competitors setting up shop.

Poor Mico is the loser of this feud. Not of our choice though. She no longer gets to eat Lamb Lungs from this Stupid supplier anymore. Shall also not support this supplier by buying anymore of his products. Mico will have other favourite treats.

1st Wedding Anniversary & Valentine's Day

Went Bintan with Dar Dar. Booked everything through the internet. When I checked in, they gave me a slip to verify my details, which was all wrong except my name and the credit card no. Did not really have a good impression of the hotel until they sent this to my room. Ok lah, I was too greedy and happily ate it until I tot of taking photos. Letter said "thank you for staying with us again" hence a plate of complimentary cakes were given for our enjoyment..heehee..cheapo me was very impressed & tot wat an excellent services! The cakes were yummy too.

Throughly enjoyed myself for the rest of the day by the pool, drinking a watermelon cocktail, going for riau massage & ending the day with a romantic set dinner. See my present to Dar Dar too..a pair of Gong Xi Fa Cai underwear.

Got a bouquet of flowers for V Day too.. Din expect it as we already spent a bomb on bintan. wat a nice surprise

Spoil sport gal

Yesterday we went Sentosa swim & today - dog run.

We swam about 1 hour. A caucasion lady saw Mico shivering while clinging onto the swim float.
told me that not all dogs like swimming and commented "poor dog'.

Wondering if Mico is shivering out of cold or fear.
Everytime we reach the beach or any river/pond, she'll e brake and refused to inch any nearer. Even when i only want her to sit by the river/pond.

I've brought her swimming so many times. Yet there is no improvement to her behaviour. Maybe she really doesn't like water? But she likes the drying part when I use the towel to dry her.

Then today at dog run, another dog was happily playing fetch with his owner. Mico saw the owner throw the ball and gave chase. The dog saw it and gave up as Mico was faster. But Mico did not want to retrieve the ball upon reaching there. She just ran back to me. The owner looked at her dog and looked at Mico & me... I had to give an embarassing smile while the owner went to pick up the ball on her own.

Cockroaches & hubby

As Junkie's wife, it is perfectly normal to pick up Junkie's gurung habits over time.
Here it goes, a newspaper article torn from TNP today.

Prefectly describes my hubby and his attitude towards cockroaches..

He can live at peace perfectly with them. When we were still dating, i went to his house ocassionally and spotted some cockroaches. He would not do anything except to drive them away, or rather, just out of my sight.

As long as I did not see them, it would be fine.

But a few days later, I would go back to discover the roaches still hanging around..

Similarly, I also know someone who sprays insecticide..

Junkie's treasure cove

My dearest hubby, Junkie's treasure cove is our storeroom.
Aint this a lot of junk...all belongs to him..None of mine!
There, he hides lot of things shifted over from his parents' places..which he doesn't want me to know..things like old love letters, treasured ex-gf photos..

While sorting out his treasure cove today in preparation for CNY, he proudly announces that he has been a Junkie since his youth.

Film shooting of home

Received this letter in my letter box today. Looks hand delivered to my letter box as the flap is unlocked. It did not even come in an envelope. We love 'junk mails'! I inherited this genes from my sister who absolutely loves mails. Everyday die die must open letter box one. Even late at night, the letter box ghost will summon her to open it for the day. The thought of the surprises that she may receive one day in the mail box draws her to the letter box daily even when a rational mind tells you that mostly are bills, bills & Bills!

Whereas hubby is a junkie. Collects bits of pieces of info for his numerous business to get "business ideas"

Ok, back to this letter. Mediacorp is filming a new drama call "bao jia wei guo" and request the loan of someone's house to do filming. So interesting! But no remmuneration was mentioned. Otherwise I may consider. haha. Maybe someone can call & find out if this letter is geninue. hehe..

Shower time

Told Dar Dar I'll be posting this picture in my blog and he says 'you not pai seh, let people know we bath together'. Not as if i'm posting naked pictures of us right.

Well, i'm sure most married couples do rite? hehe..or at least we do...

Yesterday, he brought Mico into the bathroom while I was showering halfway. To avoid Mico from getting wet, we put her onto the only dry place, the sink.. So Mico has an eyeful everyday or every other day..haha.

My accomplishment in HK

Went for 3day 2nite trip to HK with MIL in Jan. My MIL simply loves taking photos. Despite her bad leg, she can really walk! Wherever we went, she followed. & we walked to many places and long distances.
& she spent more money than me! Our accomplishment in HK.

A day at the SKC dog show

Went SKC dog show.

Saw a poodle whose fur was trimmed until it spotted 2007 on its' body. Somemore it was coloured with multi colours. Imagine shocking pink, yellow, green...I guess you can imagine it for yourself. Yucks

Saw another poodle that was cut the typical way. Gross. The fur on the backside was totally shaved off, leaving the balls dangling.

When I told Jamie over msn, she was quite amused and said that if she were a dog, she wouldn't be able to imagine having balls dangling without fur covering. In Singapore, at least the weather is hot enough so that the balls don't feel cold. hahaha..

Oh...i sure hope I din offend any poodle show dog lovers. Oops I do have a friend who has a poodle too. pardon me, I really do not know how to appreciate this type of cut. Just my frank comments really. To each his own view. Love is in the eyes of the beholder.

Mico can do Stand

Previously, I have stopped Mico from jumping up becos I was afraid that she may end up with hip problems as she is too young. Now that she is going to be 1 year soon, I'm not so afraid anymore.
After days of training with treats, Mico can do stand. Somemore she'll stand and turn round. So cute.

Mico the naughty gal

Mico is getting naughtier by the day. Things she played with, I'm going to lose count soon.

Tissue paper, cotton wood - would shred them like newspapers. Cigarette butt. Stupid inconsiderate neighbour kept throwing them in through our kitchen window. Mico found it and played with it till the left over tobacco spilled over the floor this morning.

Last night, my toner. Left her teeth mark on my toner bottle. Got a hole there hence hubby had to change bottle for me.

Previous night, I fell asleep on the sofa again. Mico went into the room to get a shower gel (compliments from the hotel type). It came screw on cap and that gal miraculously managed to open the bottle.
Left some spillage on the floor. I wondered if she licked it and would breath out bubbles. Luckily there seems to be quite a lot left.

Mico ate something silver

Hubby suspected Mico ate a paper clip. Saw something silver in her mouth and she swallowed it when he scolded her. Wondering if it is a coin that stupid hubby always throw on the floor. Seems to be all right now. Did eat and poo normally. Better don't overreact again. Will make hubby pay for it this time if Mico really needs any operation.

Mico Antics - Part 3

Banished back to kitchen liao but still could not avoid Mico's new antics. Like what my blogger readers have been saying, stupid owner stupid dog, haha... stupid owner left my brush on the floor. Did not realise that she was chewing on my brush even though I was at home that day. =(

What about the scotch tape? it was already chewed once. Did not know how it ended up within Mico's reach the second time. The night before i discovered this, I used a pair of transparent umbrella and left it in the hall to dry. Woke up to see transparent sticky stuff all over the floor. Thought she chewed on the umbrella but saw the umbrella intact. Then spotted the scotch tape. Found bits and pieces of scotch tape stuck on Mico. What a silly gal.

2 nights of lantern making

After 2 nights of lantern making with my colleague, here's what we've done. Nice right? I love them. Wonder what's the market value of these lanterns.. While threading the beads of the lanterns, they kept dropping onto the floor. As usual, Mico was hovering around, waiting to play with the beads or to eat them. Simply love round things.

Mico Antics Part 2

Apparently, I haven learnt from my mistake. 2nd day, continued to let Mico roam around freely in the house the next day and she continued to dismantle the rest of the toy. Here's the remains of the toy in the 1st picture.

3rd day still not scared to let her roam around. Simply too doting. The rest of the pictures are what she did yesterday. The newspaper was on the sofa before I left for work. Luckily she pulled the newspaper onto the floor before peeing. If not, it would be my sofa. Did I scold her? Is she wrong? She's paper trained. How to scold her??? What a mischevious gal.! I had decided to let her roam around the house freely so that she could look out of the window when she was bored. After 3 consecutive days of incident, back to the kitchen she goes...

As for sofa, still don't mind letting her up the sofa only when I call her up. But she seems quite confused. 1 minute, she can go up. The next minute when she jumps up herself, I tell her no and scold her.

Doggiezone

As of today, Doggiezone is still money losing venture. Started on 1 Nov, rev $700+, expenses $2000+. Not easy to keep stock of the correct merchandise. Sigh. The only beneficial of Doggiezone is Mico tan with new treats to eat every now and then.

Mico antics

While falling asleep on the sofa with hubby last night, someone was active jumping up and down the sofa and doing this. Took the picture of the culprit this morning. And the source of the mess, a red shoe shoe toy in the first picture.

Thanks to this mess, I decided to let her roam around the whole house since I could not forsee anything messier while I was at work. Alas, bit pen and left pen ink on my sofa cover, which cannot be removed and washed. Luckily, did not pee & poo everywhere. So at least can be trusted on that.

Mico also played with a pen few days back and left traces of ink of her fur. Did not even manage to remove after her shower.

Wat a wronged night

Yesterday night, something black flew into my house. Hubby dismissed it off as water beetle and did not react as I was asleep anyway. After a while, Mico saw it and kept barking. However, she got sent off to kitchen for barking at nothing and hubby did not see it. I was sleeping like a log. Did not hear anything.

Hubby finaly realised Mico was barking at cockroach when he saw it. What a wronged night for Mico. I've got a Cockroach Alarm at home! heee.

Mico meets Toby - 1st Christmas

Mico meets Toby, the CKCS living in Redhill too. Went to West Coast Dog run together. Both dogs were afraid of other dogs. Scardy cat is in the breed..haha.

Christmas Eve - Sad Mico

Mico hates to wear things. However, being Christmas Eve, what's the fun without dolling up my dog..haha..therefore a sad face and refused to move while wearing the reindeer suit

Just happy to be home

After discharging from hospital, Mico is just happy to be home. Took off the bandage within minutes by herself upon reaching home.

Bought her a new watermelon home to let her be comfy.

Poor Mico got discharged the next day (fri). I missed her terribly that night. When i went to pick her up at the vet, she looked so skinny. When i called her name, she went wild with excitement. Guess she also missed me..hehe..

the stay plus microchip costed me $200. my poor pocket but glad Mico is ok liao. Bought her a new watermelon house after picking her up.

A Panic Moment in my Life

Brother gave me a ferror rocheo before heading home. I placed it in a plastic bag full of other stuff. Hubby & Mico came to pick me up. Mico was in the back of the van and I placed my bag in between the driver and pasenger seat.

Stupid Mico poked her head into my bag without me knowing and started eating the chocolate. Ate entire top coating of the chocolate before I discovered.

Rushed home and tried using my fingers and spray water into her throat to force her to throw up but got bitten instead. Called the vet and vet advised to give her a teaspoon of salt to make her vomit.

Gave her that salt and initially she was quite willing to eat it. Within 1 minute, she started vomitting foam in a mixture of white, chocolate and red colour. Red colour is because hubby fed her watermelon earlier. Retching for 15 minutes followed by diarhoea of brown/yellow & red, which I think is because of the watermelon yesterday again. Initially thought that it was her insides!So scared.

Never panicked so much before. Stupid hubby took it very lightly about Mico eating chocolate and simply refused to believe the seriousness. In self denial! Simply bochap and stayed in the room while Mico and I were in the bathroom retching. Din even attempt to help me to search for Vet's no when I was frantically searching any emergency no. Pls, anyone, pls drum that concept into my stupid Hubby's brain that chocolate is poisonous to dog and it is serious! Somemore can take aftermath photo of Mico suffering. The most heartache part was already washed away by me then. If I din wash away, Mico would attempt to eat back her vomit.

My heart aches so much for Mico. After all that pucking, she's a wet, weak and sick dog. but still can play the towel game with me when I tried to wipe her dry. after that still can go chase my clothes when hubby threw it into the laundry basket. I cried when I saw her resting. I could have just lost Mico like that!

She seems allrite now. Need to monitor her tonight. Wonder what to feed her tomorrow so that her stomach will recover slowly.

Gone with the heat

Yo, finally my heat is finished. Feel so much better. Don't have to clean myself every few minutes. hehehe.. best part is that my mummy is bringing me out again every day for walk.when I heard the word "leash", I know that I get to go out. So must show my mummy that I'm happy about going out or else my mummy may not bring me out.

Recently i like to speak. but my mummy don't like me to speak at all. she'll get angry with me and i'm so frightened when she gets angry. Why can't I speak? I'm so like human, just that I cannot talk. So i speak in my own way lor. Mummy and Daddy don't understand my language, what can i do?

mico - the queen of gy9122h

Normally Mico will ride with me in front on my lap on the passenger seat or at my feet. Put her at the back of the van yesterday and we drove to Mount Faber. Decided to make fun of her and not to let her out. So i pretended to say bye bye and locked her in the car. Dar opened the back door to let her out. she climbed onto the sofa to get out. that was the 1st time she went up the sofa.

On the way home, i looked back to check Mico and discovered that she has climbed up the sofa and seated herself comfortably on the sofa. Somemore already lie down. She looked so relaxed. Just like queen and we are the chauffer and butler. Reminds me of some dog who inherited some fortune from the deseased owner and got servants to look after it.. what a sight. A pity that I did not take any pictures.

She's been barking more often recently at nothing. So i'm taking the opportunity to teach her 'speak"

Heat almost ending. Yeah! This afternoon I squatted on the floor to wipe the stains accumulated for a few days. Back breaking man.

Bought a packet of timberwolf on Sun from the pet shop. Couldn't bear to wait anymore. Have mixed both canidae & timberwolf (with more of canidae though so that my pocket won't hurt too much. Mico is eating better with the mixture.

Another Cavalier

Heard that Pets Instinct brought in cavalier puppies. So tempted to buy another cavalier..Wonder how much one will cost.

I'm so hungry

I'm so hungry. I haven eaten for almost 2 days except a morsel of kibbles, biscuit and fruits.

My mummy only feed me kibbles which i do not like. Everytime i see the kibbles, I will give my mummy a sad face and hope that she gives me something else. But my mummy has been ignoring my plea.

I love lamb lungs, ice, treats, fruits, milk, canned food. Basically I'm ok with everything except kibbles.

I'm not stubborn. I only want nice food, that's all. sigh. Maybe mummy will give me nice food again when I puck yellow gastric juice again. Just like the previous 2 times.

the long wait for timberwolf kibbles

Weird company. hubby contacted the company numerous times to say that we are interested to sell. I'm more interested to feed Mico TW though. Always give excuses or last minute say cannot turn up for meeting. Also refused to give us price list. I'm so keen to buy. But they are not keen to sell.

Destructive gal

Today came home and saw some yellow/orange colour bits on the floor besides the usual shit and pee.. was wondering wat it was. Is it puck? Never fed her anything that colour. Picked it up and realised that it is hard like rubber. I never gave her any toy this morning. Then I saw the carcass of the toy.

Fussy mico and helpless audrey

stupid gal so fussy abt food..after weeks on putting her on canidae, still do not want to eat.. eat only when super hungry or I must be there to watch her eat. Watching her eat is a luxury of time which I can hardly afford now with my exams approaching. So she chooses to eat only once a day, sometimes dont' even eat..just thinking maybe i should just feed her once a day,like an adult dog since she chooses it.


Canidae causes her to have tear stains..everyday got to wipe her eyes at least 3 times. This problem was not so bad when she was on timberwolf elk..also din have to watch her eat..she just automatically eats...i think it's nice bah.......want to put her back..

but got to solve my canidae 10+kg problem... & timberwolf supplier just refused to give us the pricing until we buy fm them...

running out of patience to watch mico eat..hope to lay my hands on timberwolf soon.

Mico loose pants up

wonder when her first heat is finishing. Started on 1 NOV. Today is already 13 nov. Isn't it only for 2 weeks? Poor gal has been deprived from going out or even roaming around the house. Saw frm DS that dogs on heat can have change in behaviour and if she meets a male dog and she may get injured due to deprival. Hence don't dare to bring her out at all. Heng no change in behaviour either...does stubbornness count??

Let her wear pants with my panty liner on it so that she can move around at home. See the loose pants up..even s size too big..haha..
Problem is after a few hours, she will pee in the pants...end up have to wash and dry that pants..then she kenna isolated cos no pants to wear..cannot roam the house..

Sentosa Outing

Mico's very good life. Yesterday bring her to Sentosa. Actually coz aku become pet taxi and the customer don't mind so I let Mico tag along lor.

Ha, when we first reach the Tanjong Beach, a couple (think is Mother and Son) asked me about Mico and if I'm interested to let Mico mate with their CKCS. We've exchanged contacts, but I leave the decision to big boss Audrey lar. After all, it's her pet anyway. See when she want Mico to be an adult, hahaha

Oh,the life jacket was actually borrowed from my customer. The one we originally purchased for her was sold to someone one, and the rest we had are too big for her. lol.

Took me a hard time to 'drag' Mico into the sea. Stupid dog seems to be frighten of water. After a few force throwing, she eventually dares to go into the sea. Got one time she own self 'willing' slowly test water and go in to.

Mico also very auto. When my customer ask Mico if want to play on her floatable boat, she just jumped in without thinking. Think she enjoys it. See if Audrey will auto buy one for her or not. hahaha. When the boat 'hit' the shores, Mico also very fast know how to jump out and go for the land.

Audrey said this morning want to go again de, but as usual she 'say only', cannot wake up. Signz... Poor Mico, no chance to go play again coz she owner very lazy de.

sad case of a mongrel

Went to discovery centre yesterday noon for a visit..
when I was on the bus, i saw a mongrel lying by the side of the road.
at first, thought it was just asleep but upon closer look, realised that it has actually died and tongue sticking out with open wound.

Oh my god...poor doggy...dead already also nobody bothered to bury it.
That place, though deserted, has a whole stretch of factories...
How come nobody bothered to do anything??

Mico's 1st heat

Yesterday morning, I saw some brown stuff from Mico's vulga.
Her 1st heat..on the way to becoming an adult..hehe
No unusual reaction or behaviour.
Wouldn't even know she's having her heat if I don't have the habit of doing tummy rub..hehe..

She ate watermelon and got some red stain on her mouth...
looks like lipstick...

Weight check

Mico is now 4.8 kg as of yesterday. As heavy as a bag of rice...
Goodness, need to keep her weight in check otherwise later end up too fat...
