Last nite, my rarely barked gal barked in the middle of the night. Dashed into my room (which is forbidden grounds to her) and onto my bed...when i picked her up, she held onto me so tightly with her front legs and refused to let go..

Last time she barked was because of a cockroach..that time she was so scared till she pee..
wondered wat it was that made her so clingly last night. Went to the kitchen and found nothing...

Is it ghost or UFO??? haha

Outing at pet movers and Mico's depression

Saturday was an eventful day. Was supposed to send a pair of poor unwanted rabbits to SPCA. At the last minute, a foster was found hence they were spared from their destiny temporarily. But there went my 1st visit to SPCA.

Brought Mico to pet movers to swim and play in the dog run. So many dogs in the dog run. Mico was so excited and she even ran up the ramp. But alas, my poor gal was so crowded out by other dogs and while she was on top of the ramp, another schauzer climbed on top of her. Then both of them fell off the ramp subsequently.

I could only watch helplessly as I was on the other side of the ramp and could not reach out in time. Luckily, my poor gal was ok.

Bought a elizabeth collar for her to prepare her for spaying. Put it on her at night. The whole time she had that one, she refused to move, eat, drink or even look at me when I walked past. Just like a dead dog.

Even after removing the collar the next morning, she still behaved like a dead dog..It was only after sayanging and giving her treats that she started to behave more normally.

Gosh, though my dear gal was sick..keke..

Here's our Mico. Right after her shower. She's a timid doggie. Initially she was frightened easily by the sound from the ball, but she gradually get used to it.

As of 24 Oct 2006, Mico weights 4.5kg and19 in (includes her head). Mmm, getting bigger in size and heavier very fast :< Not so fun to play with already. Mico now is already 6mths old. We've decided to set her birthday same as Audrey (ie, 9th July). Actual age will be add 3months, hahaha.

To prevent her solid our rooms, we did manage to get a box for her. She is quite used to the box to know and understand it's her new home.

Welcome to our dear doggie Mico's (aka Miko) website :-)

Well, why Mico aka Miko in the first place. Coz the stupid wife told the husband Mico, but he likes to call her "Co Co" (ie, "ko ko"). lol

To start off, Mico is Cavalier King Charles Spaniels breed. She joined our family on 9th July, on Audrey's birthday and, one day anniversary of our wedding dinner. We purchased her at Pet's Movers. We had earlier scouted a few places for this breed, but found their pricing very steep. There were two puppies to choose, but I was quick to select Mico as it's a 'her'. The breeder had warned us that if we select a "he", we got to beware of alot of things like peeing anywhere, etc. As for Audrey, she fond of Mico as she keep wagging her tails when we tries to carry her.
