Did you crush it? It's actually quite a sight when the blood spills... used to have big and small ones with my german shepherds and mongrol.
Oh by the way, I think I was told you shouldn't use crushing as the method to kill them because their eggs might be scattered during the "explosion".
My mom used to drown them in vinegar...
